Those who are dealing with the death of a loved one will tell you that even small things can send memories of the person rushing back. It can be the big milestone moments that make their absence the most difficult. At just 29 years old, Cate Edwards has dealt with her share of grief. Her brother Wade was killed in a car accident at the age of 16 and her mother passed away after a long battle with breast cancer in 2010.

In her interview with NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Cate speaks about the new foundation she is launching in honor of her mother and preparing for her wedding without her.
