Kate’s Club’s vision is a world in which it’s okay to grieve, and we want you to join us in this work. We are a community for children and teens, their families, and young adults facing life after the death of someone important to them. The organization brings people together around grief, creating safe - both in-person and virtual - educational, recreational and therapeutic spaces designed to help everyone express the emotions that come with such a loss. This position is focused on the people in our community who use our services - our members.
Do you naturally create connection and community?
We are seeking an individual who greets others with warmth and openness, and who will make our member families immediately feel a part of the Kate’s Club community. This individual will be very detail-oriented, following up by email, phone, and text when necessary to ensure our new families move through the on-boarding process efficiently. You’ll be comfortable talking to others in the community about Kate’s Club and the work that we do, and will engage families to ensure they are regularly attending our programs. You will track and measure the results of your work.
What you'll do
Membership Process (About 45% of the role)
You will be responsible for our member families, from the time they first contact Kate’s Club through to their ongoing engagement with our programs. You will schedule their initial conversations, track their onboarding progress, and resolve any bottlenecks.
Family Communication (About 40% of the role)
You will be the key connection point for member families, ensuring they stay informed and engaged with Kate’s Club programs. You will manage communication platforms, send newsletters and event sign-ups, respond to inquiries, and maintain up-to-date contact information across all regions.
Membership Outreach and other responsibilities (About 20% of the role)
This role will be responsible for attending events and meeting grieving families where they are to build awareness of Kate’s Club’s services. You will work with coordinators across the state to drive membership and engagement, and will be responsible for ensuring timely reporting for grants. You will participate in our programming directly in our Atlanta Clubhouse regularly.
