Celebrating 20 Years of Kate's Club

Can you envision a world in which it’s okay to grieve? 20 years ago, Kate Atwood did.

What started as a community of six children and six volunteers has become a diverse community of grieving children and teens, their families, and young adults throughout all of Georgia.

We are honored to celebrate 20 years of Kate’s Club, and the milestones made possible by the community of people like you who rally behind our mission.

As we reflect on our growth, we also know there is still more work to do, and we remain committed to our day-one vision of a world in which it’s okay to grieve.

Give today to support the next 20 years of grief support for children, families and young adults.

On May 13, we hosted our 20th Anniversary Mourning Glory Gala at Zoo Atlanta's Ford Pavilion. We heard speeches from the Kate's Club community, danced, celebrated, and most importantly raised over $410,000 for grieving children, families and young adults at Kate's Club.

On November 11, we hosted the 2023 Memory Walk: 20th Anniversary Celebration Stroll, and for the first time we gathered in two locations! Community members in Atlanta and Brunswick came together to honor and remember people in their lives who died, while surrounded by understanding and support. Together, we raised $40,000 for Kate's Club programs.
